Why we Should buy Realme 2?

Realme 2 launched by oppo on September 4, 2018, in India. The phone is available in three colors variant Diamond Black, Diamond Blue, and Diamond Red. The Realme 2 has a 6.2-inch long display. It is available in two variants – one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage priced at Rs. 8,990, and the one we reviewed, with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage priced at Rs. 10,990.

Specificaions and Features

The device is powered by Octa core, 1.8 GHz, Cortex A53 Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor and it runs ColorOS 5.1 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo. The phone comes with dual sim card tray and a dedicated memory card tray. The phone contains two rear cameras (13MP + 2MP) and one front camera of 8MP for clicking selfies.

Battery Performance

The Realme 2 is backed by a 4,230 mAh battery which comes with 5V/2A charging support. It breezed through a day of moderate use, and still had about 40 to 50 percent left at the end. You get an Oppo-branded standard 10W charger in the box, that charges the phone fully in around 3 hours.

The phone usually lasted a day and a half, sometime stretching to two days.

The phone is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for front and case for the back. The fingerprint and face unlock available on the phone. The 8MP camera is available for clicking selfies. Features missing in Realme 2

No fast charging is support in the phone. No USB Type C reversible connector support. No full HD display. The gyro sensor is missing on the phone. It does not offer NFC feature.

Verdict

The Realme 2 smartphone offers stellar battery life, a unique design, a dedicated microSD card slot, and good build quality. However, performance is just about okay, the cameras are average, and the display is sub-standard. The fingerprint sensor is also slow and iffy. The phone has all Specifications and Features at this price.
