Xiaomi Mi Pay Beta Service
India is the third largest economy in the world and digital payments currently aggregate less than 200 billion USD. In 200 only 10 billion transactions are done using mobile or smartphone. According to financial companies digital payment market in India will grow to USD 1 trillion by FY23E and smartphone transactions will lead this growth.
Digital transactions are boom after the announcement of demonetization. People who were once hesitant to use doing online transaction, have start using app like BHIM and PayTM. As the market of mobile transaction rising more companies like whatsapp, google pay, freecharge, mobikwik etc has launched their app. User can pay your phone/ water/ electricity bills, and make mobile or DTH recharges.
Mi Pay Features
Xiaomi is working on its new feature of MIUI 10 called “Mi Pay”. MIUI 10 is under beta version and available for testing for users. Since Mi Pay is not app like Google Pay and PayTM, user need not to download it separately. User can make payment using debit/ credit card and net-banking too and pay to vendors by scanning QR codes.
How to apply for beta testing of Mi Pay
Before applying for beta tester, you should have Poco F1, Redmi 6-series, Redmi Note 5 / Note 5 Pro, or Redmi Note 6 / Note 6 Pro. User interested to test MIUI 10 beta version needs to fill the form on goo.gl/forms/L7OnrkKIsOpG1tzn1. It will ask you for basic details like your email address, full name, link to Mi Profile of your Mi Account, Mi ID, and more.
In case you don’t have a Mi account, you can create one by accessing the Mi Community app, or by visiting in.c.mi.com. The beta application is open till December 31 2018.
Xiaomi hasn’t revealed when the stable build of the service will be available to the public.
